Thailand is everything and nothing like I thought it would be.  Like any great structure, I could never prepare myself for the experience of standing right beside it.  Like any great cuisine, I could never prepare myself for the actual intensity of the perfect combination of Mangos and Sticky Rice.  Like any great Journey across the world, I could never fully image the challenges that I would face getting there and getting back.  My experiences in Asia have been life changing as they have continued to remind me that this world of ours is incredibly diverse and full of complexity.   They have a saying in Thailand that means (roughly) that life in Thailand is both the same and different from anywhere else, “Same Same but Different”.  I felt just as human as anyone else I saw or met but how very different I felt at the same time.
