The Lonely Planet explains it so well…the Azores are indeed “Europe’s secret Island of Adventures”!  I was so fortunate to have explored the largest of Azores’s Islands, the Island of Sao Miguel.  I visited during the slow rainy season and ,because of the time of year, I found solitude in so many frequented destinations.  How unbelievably awesome it was to bathe in volcanic hot springs and to have hiked the rim of a dormant Volcano and to have gotten stuck (more than once) behind herded cows on a public road and to have searched endlessly for the perfect moment to capture.  I am so happy to share these Images and hope they are able to portray the visions I was able to see.
